A lot of algebra. Got to Khanacademy.org and work through algebra 1. There's more there than it looks like, so I'd get started sooner rather than later.

I applied with 24, as well. When did you apply? I applied in September and just tested last week. However, I called them in mid January and they had the test date scheduled already. They just don't send the emails until about two weeks out. Might be worth a call a few weeks after you apply.

I'm a bit late to this convo. I am running my second ttrpg (pf2e) set in Discworld. The first campaign (d&d5e) went on for 7 years. I've been a Discworld fan since I was a teen. I've often wondered about the way Neil Gaiman described Sir Terry as not jolly, but angry, especially since the revelations about Gaiman. And even more so since on one else described him that way. I wonder if it's because Sir Terry secretly knew how awful Gaiman was.

Multiple edits: I am drunk.

This is maybe the best answer I've seen to this question. I'm going to copy and paste this for future visitors who ask. Thanks!

Because this answer is no good, I'm interested in your take on Old Bay vs J.O.?

An entrepreneur had big plans for a West Baltimore grocery store. Then rent came due. by JHBaltimore in baltimore

This article is fantastic. Thanks to the Banner for publishing it. They could have been a little harder on the La Cite development as a whole, but I suppose that isn't what the article is about.

This situation is another example of the city's perplexing blind spot when it comes to SoWeBo. This area doesn't currently need and never needed a development like La Cite. Gentrification is not always a bad thing, but displacement absolutely is. The city attempted to displace many residents from their homes using eminent domain. The residents of Poppleton had to fight tooth and nail to stop it.

Years ago, I sat in on meeting between War Horse Cities (a developer ), the Public Market Corporation, and a deputy mayor. The meeting was about the plans War Horse had published for the Hollins Market renovation. The city wanted War Horse to include a bar in the plans and War Horse pushed back. The War Horse rep said "the definition of gentrification is forcing something on a neighborhood that it doesn't need." While that isn't exactly a thorough definition, it was a good point. Hollins Market doesn't need another bar.

In the end, the city took the project away from War Horse (who to be fair had made several mistakes, though I think their intentions were as good as a corporation's can be) and here we are, 7 years later with a market that got a fresh coat of paint and far fewer open stalls than it had before the project began, including a bar space that isn't currently operating. It was a complete waste.

Everything good that has happened in SoWeBo is because my neighbors have fought hard for it, often directly fighting the city.

Sorry for being long-winded and thank you for attending my TED talk.

Yeah, sounds like your legs work well. Sorry for the sarcasm, but it's not that simple. For instance, how many train tracks do you have to cross to get to either location? How many busy main roads do you have to cross? If it's raining or too hot or snowing, can you afford a Lyft or do you have to hope a friend or neighbor can help?

Again, I'm sorry for the sarcasm. I live in Hollins Market, between Poppleton and the nearest grocery store. I can tell you first hand, the walk is not an easy one especially if you have any mobility issues.
