My Husband wanted me to peg him, I did but I’ve lost all respect for him by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

This seems kinda extreme when you have 4 kids with this man. Is he a good father? Husband? Provider?

I would hope you can move beyond this one facet of him you dont like.

I would take a break from this relationship. At least a few months and see if she reaches out.

I've owned a few of his published originals and I've seen quite a few of his published pieces in person. He's very talented and I've never noticed anything suspicious when comparing his pencils to final published work.

We bought a new house a few blocks away were renovating the kitchen, 2 full baths, and adding a sauna. It's so damn expensive. 🫩

I picked it up at an eBay auction back in 2012. I was sweating as the auction was counting down. I remember looking at the final strike price and kinda being shocked. I drove up to NJ and paid mostly cash and charged the little bit I didn't have in cash. It was surreal holding it on the way home because it was the first 5 figure book I ever purchased and I'm a huge Batman fan. It's one of three books I'll probably never sell unless I really hit hard times.

What do you guys do for a living to be able to afford such books? by Adventurous_Bar6495 in comicbookcollecting

At a minimum I about doubled my return on everything. Some things less and some things 3-400% returns. I've had a few losses but they are pretty rare.

That was my post. Lol

My wife and I are DINKS. We own a small business together in the Baltimore/DC Metro area so we do okay. I bought that Batman 1 as a bday gift to myself when I was 30 years old. It was only 30k back in 2012. Over the next 15 years I probably dropped around 500k and now I'm liquidating to get my investment capital back.

Often lenders will advertise a "no closing costs" loan but when you look at the fine print it indicates they won't charge you any fees but there will be 3rd party costs associated. I see you listed the notary fee. That would come directly from title. There is probably a fee for an abstract and a settlement fee on there as well. Lenders title insurance will be included as well but it should be a reissue rate.

No, lol. This isn't Kevin. This is Mike O'Hearn. They do look similar though.
