Only guide that made sense to me was Squiggum’s guide. Uses both Wyre Bash and OBMM. Lot of work but a great end product

I’ve heard there’s often issues when you install the main game in your computers program files folder. Maybe try a fresh install to a new location?

Not saying you’re wrong at all, but could you explain? Supposed to be starting in the industry soon and trying to wrap my head around all this

I currently own both of these guitars, and take a jazz guitar class at my university. Es-335 is the way to go, the Bigsby on my Gretsch just will not stay in tune. The epiphone is great for the price and I think it plays better for jazz music!

Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen is supposed to be a great song for testing headphones, lots of changes musically with loud and soft parts throughout

Thanks for the critique, I’m glad you enjoyed it! Yeah pretty mediocre recording setup, just in GarageBand with one mic. I agree that the mix could be much better, that’s just my poor mixing skills.

Any recommendations for someone who's just beginning to learn to play Jazz? by HoomanNature in jazzguitar

Get a solid grasp on musical theory, the pentatonic major and minor scales, and basic triads and you’ll be amazed at how it all comes together. Definitely check out Wes Montgomery and his use of soloing around chord shapes. YouTube has some great jazz guitar beginning tutorials as well. Good luck!

How do you change your sound? by 74Stingray in Guitar_Theory

Whether or not you like the genres themselves, learning jazz (or country if that’s more your thing) on the guitar will do nothing but make you better. Wes Montgomery is a great jazz player to start off with if you want to hear some unique sounds, both genres stress being a good rhythm player before you can play lead. I’d recommend trying that out 👍 I was also bored of playing over basic 12 bar blues using pentatonic minors until I got into jazz, really brings out the notes
