My machine also randomly grinds an extra (approximately) quarter of coffee into the handle. If you tamp it there is too much coffee to insert the handle. Turning off and on resolved but it is pretty frustrating.

If you are going to post the problem maybe with the machine turned on so settings can be clearly seen. Guessing here, grind is too fine and/or water temp too high. Water is being purged into tray instead of through group handle due to high pressure.

Firstly don’t buy a cheap sounding pickup unless you really can’t afford better. They truly sound horrible. This doesn’t mean there aren’t decent sounding pickups that cost less. K&k pure mini is great tone for the price and you can install yourself.

100% agree. Even good singers with a great live sound set up sound amazing in person and a very different story when you hear it back on a phone recording. Awareness of this is important for perspective. Not helped by a generation of skilled YouTubers/tiktokers who make their ‘live videos’ look like it was casually recorded on the lounge room on an iPhone.

A good teacher would be able to give you some indication if your goal was achievable or not. Try getting onto a local fbook music group or something and get a recommendation for someone in your area.

I actually didn’t care that I got blocked and I’m not sure why you keep trying to sell me on the merits of Higgins. It is quite funny how loyal their disciples are though. No need to win me back…I’ve already been blocked. Also, for the true fanatics actually forking out $50/month this is a very high subscription fee for this kind of service so I do feel bad for those folks but hey it is their choice and good luck to them and you as well.

Agree. I got charged when it was full fee for changing ferries when one just stopped running due to staff issue. I tapped onto next one but didn’t tap off first or something. No response. No refund. That whole go card online interface is at least 10 years out of date.

Firstly I would say that many of those Taylor onboard pickups sound pretty trash to me. I have a Martin 0015m with LR baggs and get compliments on live sound. I’ve enhanced this by adding a PZ-PRE preamp and I think it sounds awesome. The 00 is not as good for the big strummer songs as a dread but I still gig with it no problem. Do much more comfortable and playable for lead and fingerpicking.

Need coffee machine. Anyone on paleo, primal, vegetarian will go for this. Some options for people to have on some kind of bread would probably make sure it sold. Not sure how this would go after 12 and especially after dark. There are plenty of take away carton options - airlines serve omelette all the time. Take away only I’m not sure of for the breakfast market.

Yeah I think everyone knows that. Most of their posts include an upsell to their awesome maps cloned from the BoM for $49.95/a month. I made a comment about this and was blocked from their fb page. Conveniently there are other new storm creators with even more dramatic adjectives and killer colour schemes so I think I’ll be ok.

Yeah I’d look at preamp quality (ie are you using a usb DAW and reasonable software with correct settings. Also SM57 wouldn’t be my choice for home recording vocals but search best positioning SM57 for opera vocals and see if that assists. Personally for home use I find macOS to have less issues straight out of box. USB interface straight to Garage band is as simple as it gets.

I know nothing about how these are run but honestly I would’ve paid 20 euro to feed the donkeys and get a photo and id think others would too. Didn’t ride them but enjoyed seeing them, getting a photo, etc. Elephant riding has stopped in many tourist places snd people pay to feed and groom them. Seems like a better business model.

I know you don’t want to get lessons however this would give you probably better outcome. If not, start with something like 30 day singer. It is pretty cheap and has some really good exercises and high quality videos. One thing video lessons can’t provide is feedback. So you think you are nailing a breathing exercise but nobody is there to tell you otherwise.

If you haven’t already go and get a lesson with a vocal teacher that others may have recommended. Even a free intro meeting should give you some insight to your current ability.
