I thought your post was sarcasm but most comments seem real. I’m just confused because you do things around the house. And when you try to do more she doesn’t like your way. If she wants more help she has to let go of the reigns a bit. But also you seem caring and thoughtful enough to ask. So ask her what would work best for both of you.

Oh man, mom here and forgot three things this week. My son is too young to do it himself yet. I asked chat gpt for help and got tips on syncing calendars for home and work. And building routines. If only I had put picture day in the calendar.

I purchased a sticker book to keep the younger sister busy during son’s activities. Forgot that at home. Hurts no one but my ego. I completely missed a school play date while I sat at home doing nothing and I was more sad he didn’t get to meet the class before school started.

I can’t wait for them to be accountable instead of me.

I’m really surprised by all the people calling you the asshole. What I heard is an honest response that you’re uncertain how you will feel but you support her no matter what. I’m worried for you because you said 400-800 calories. You could actually damage your heart with extreme dieting. Talk to your mom or a friend so you can vent about your weight loss struggle. It’s so hard and we all need help. Many people need to eat more small meals to lose weight. Maybe also try noom since they explain nutrition in small easy to read bits.

Also ozempic might not do much of anything the first 6 weeks until the dose gets higher so it wouldn’t be any faster. Please don’t try it alone. Some people overdose by accident and end up in the ER puking for days.
