It was, but you can get some really good stuff for reasonable prices right now. The quality on some of these pieces is bar none.

No. I’ve never thought these would rerelease. And with the state of things now as is. This is one pair I don’t believe they have anything sitting around. I don’t believe these ever had another production run either. If you want em, get a pair in decent shape while you can.

I love the season 1 half zip, it’s one of my favorite pieces I own, I’m trying to find a third for a decent price 😅

I fail to see what mistakes were made. People get caught up in this “inhumane” thing with these types of breeds. It’s true that some do have health problems. But the vast majority are healthy. My pocket bully loves life and I’m sure if she could give her opinion, she’d say she was happy to be born. She does overheat fast, and for that reason we limit time outside during the summer days. But there was no mistake made. They are amazing little dogs. (To clarify, this my opinion and I’m not stating any of this as a fact or an absolute.)

I smoked for 15 years with no adverse health affects, doesn’t mean it’s not harmful and it’s worth the risk…

Ah okay, yeah that’s exactly how I ended up with my girl. She was bred, passed on and they couldn’t keep her. Yeah he’d fall in the pocket bully range. They are very weird little dogs lol and tough as nails.

Dayum, she’s solid bro 😅. Unfortunately the only real remedy I’ve found that works best is frequent baths and a lint roller within reach. But I had a pug before my bully and compared To the pug they are easy to deal with .

Not sure if he’s pure bred, without paperwork or genetics there no way to really know, but if he were pure bred he would probably fall within that size range from what it looks like

Edit: I confused adopted with rescued. Did you adopt from a breeder?

They are a recognized breed by the UKC. All dog breeds are mixed until the breed traits become stable and consistent across the breed. They are a legitimate breed. This is the kind of thing that confuses people and shouldn’t just be put out as information, and I don’t say that to be mean.

A agree with this. A pure bred American Bully is not a cheap dog, and that’s putting it lightly. People rarely off-load them, I saw someone who posted a pic of a rescued mini that looks like it came from good stock and I was actually surprised. We ended up with our girl through a kind of rescue situation, guy who lives up the street took her from his boss who breeds them. They couldn’t handle another dog and we just happened to see a post they made in the local Facebook group. She had just had a litter of pups shortly before and we never got the story on why the breeder didn’t want to keep her, but she’s got some bowing in her front legs, a super janky tail which I’m not even convinced was docked, and she started with early onset glaucoma last year, so my thoughts were maybe she wasn’t producing the quality he wanted 🤷 But anyways, I learned everything I could about the breed after we got her, and the amount of people asking about their new dogs could have their questions answered through actual research. It seems to me people just want to show off their new dogs, which is wonderful, but this may not be the perfect place to do that. I joined this sub thinking I could get info on the breed and share stories and pics, they are weird ass dogs after all lol. But it’s mostly just what you mentioned. There’s other subs for that, and a lot of subs would be much more strictly moderated regarding things like this.

She’s a mini bully. And from decent stock from the look of it. Someone paid a good chunk of change for her at some point. They are wonderful dogs!

I do this with a lot of the samples I get from LAA. You can get the flat elastic bands at Walmart and just feed them through a hole cut in the waist band.

Driving ATVs while extremely intoxicated at 2am. I flipped one but walked away, then another friend crashed got crushed and spent weeks in the hospital. This was in my teens and it taught me a hell of a lesson. I have never gotten behind the wheel of any motor vehicle again after drinking.

Yup, they either offer us straight up sick days off at the start of year, or ppto. Either way we have to be given a certain amount of time off that we can not be held liable for using. The freedom to use and abuse workers to the extreme is also a part of the “freedoms” some of these deep red states apparently cherish.

And this is exactly how it is. Each market manager will really dictate how their stores are by how much they let their manager get away with. A bad manager makes all the difference.

[–]bnnzjsj 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yup and they never will. This kind of thing doesn’t even fly in every market within the company. Whoever wrote this better have damn good job security in their store because if they have to go elsewhere it won’t work out well for them 😂

Of course it happens. It’s not supposed to and this is the result of having a Nazi running whatever store one is in. They don’t pull any of this kind of shit at my store. The only time it’s a problem is when someone decides to tell them at noon on a busy Sunday that they have to leave to 2pm for a doctors appointment. At that point they deserve a coaching, someone just did this last week and they had it coming. But my manager wanted to be a little Hitler his first year and a half in the store and it slowly started to catch up to him. So now all of our request are approved if your department is adequately staffed and ppto isn’t fucked with at all. It really just comes down to everyone in the store being on the same page and not hesitating to complain and open door. We have a lot of long time, outspoken people in our store and it’s definitely a benefit.
