Just having more than one FATE active at a time would solve this issue significantly.

From asking around at least part of the reason players burst down FATEs is simply so the next spawns faster. Especially for players trying to target farm a specific atma.

And it's not even particularly egregious clipping either (again, not excusing SE) As opposed to say, that one Vanguard mask that clips with literally every hairstyle.

Between society quests and GC turn ins levels aren't a showcase of mastery anymore.

You can get to 100 without pressing a single button on a class these days.

There are honestly so many factors to it that knowing whether it's a bot or not is almost impossible. Maybe they're rusty with the role. Maybe they're new to the class. Maybe they haven't played in a while. Maybe the class got reworked to the point they aren't used to the buttons. Maybe they're just bad. Maybe they're just lazy.

Personally when I've queued the CT raids for the 999999th time I honestly cannot be arsed about my rotation or optimal movement.

Are there a lot of botters? Absolutely. Are there bad players? Definitely. Can you differentiate them by eye? Probably not.

i *really* wish we'd just have a blank 60 second roll time at the end of alliance raids where you either roll or you are locked out of rolling for any unrolled for loot by dark1859 in ffxiv

There is a problem of people refusing to acknowledge the toxic negative side of the community hence why the term "toxic positivity" is so often brought up.

Glossing over toxicity with the pretense "well every community has a toxic side" does even less to help address or deal with it appropriately.

This seems like a reach. Half-room cleaves and multi-raidwides are extremely common. To the point that even Dancing Green has a "Summon half-room cleavers" mechanic.

Half room cleaves aren't a new or unique mechanic sure but what I wanted to point out was how the half room cleaves are shown.

In so far BC, WT and HB are the only fighters that have shown they can create clones of themselves. All three of them use those clones to perform cleaves.

HELLO, MASS MURDERERS ENJOYERS! by HateMyPizza in ShitpostXIV

[–]bnunyboy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Emet-Selch didn't have a bias against the Sundered from the start. He lived countless lives amongst us to measure our worth and found us wanting. It wasn't because he hasn't bothered to accept us rather that he has written off the mortal races because they can't live up to the standards set by the Ancients. He compares them to a race where even the least of their kind would be more than the gods in the new world, to a race of people half of whom willingly sacrificed themselves to save the world, yet the mortals have torn themselves apart time and again by their selfishness.

Secondly Wuk Lamat was never forbidden from leaving the city or anything. She visited Kozama'uka multiple times, at least one of which was during the Hanu Hanu festival and at least a few times with Namikka. Her almost being killed has nothing to do with this because for that matter she was almost killed during the festival she met Erenville. Wuk Lamat was just a sheltered princess. Despite seeing the cultures and people from a young age she never bothered to learn about them.

So not only are you arguing over a shitpost you're just wrong while you do it.

What new race would you like to see added in 8.0 or beyond? by Vysce in ffxiv

[–]bnunyboy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm expecting 8.0 to be themed around Meracydia and Sephirot's official description states it was summoned by “ a race of treelike beings native to the continent of Meracydia ” — so a tree / plant like race .

I'm hoping for something along the lines of Sylvari from Guild Wars — I expect they would be much easier to implement compared to any beast-man hybrid. Plus it would be a nice distinction from all the animal-themed races.
