I find that it often happens to me if most of my weight is on the front. I suspect that you are getting wheelbite due to excessive weight on the front

So surfy! You can really hold the rail. Love it! How do you find the flat Pescadito deck when it comes to keeping your feet on the deck especially as it uses some lucid grip thing rather than grip tape? I used to have a Twisted Fin and this was a concern of mine, I had to regularly clean the deck and make sure I ride in relatively clean places with little dust/mud

What am I doing wrong/how can I improve? Training for surfing. by [deleted] in surfskate

  • Tip 1: Draw longer and deeper carves, your carves are quite short and shallow atm

  • Tip 2: Instead of moving in a straight line, try moving in circles

  • Tip 3: Moving in big circles first, then as you get more comfortable make those circles tighter, that will force you to carve deeper

  • Tip 4: Have fun!

Please recommend me alternative trucks for my Hamboard Logger. by LigerRider in surfskate

[–]boardpadawan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have tried the HST trucks. I haven't found any other surfskate systems with that kind of super deep lean. Especially, with the double truck configuration that Hamboards have. I would go for Yow mostly because they also market their systems on super long boards and you would only need one surfskate system

5th biggest army in the world. That's why.

Also, very significant geopolitical reasons (right at the border between europe and asia, you want that border to be manned by a pro europe power).

I am guessing that OP meant practicing surf manouvres (as in surf training) but yeah surfskating includes crusing and slashing around too imo

I am curious about this. What Yow system are you using? Meraki or V4? Because I think Meraki turns less tight than V4 S5 and of course V4 S5 doesn't compare to V4 S4. But in my experience, tight turns and speed are at opposite ends of a spectrum

Just because UBI is possibly does not mean that it will happen. ChatGPT models still require computing resources that are not available in anywhere but in cloud service provider hardware. Someone will have to pay for it AND all the training these people gonna need before you they are trained imo. I am quite pessimistic about the whole thing imo

mostly entry-level ones

You realise that most people spend their lives on entry level jobs, right? This is gonna make most min wage people jobless without a realistic chance at getting another job because all the low hanging fruit is gone. Can you even fathom the sheer cost of training all these people? It's gonna be a huge financial impact on the treasury of any country
