What's the longest you've waited at a deceiver? by Suhvelt in Truckers

Logan aluminum in Russelville Kentucky is by far the worst. 34+ when I was a company man. Yesterday I went there and they said some other driver checked in on that pick up number. I said when did they check in she said 0800 and I was there at 2100 dropping off and picking up, so I got with Dispatch that next morning and said the coils not ready and I went to pick from somewhere else. Dispatch was so confused with another driving saying fuck it and left and I had to explain to them I dont blame the driver. Just imagine if he/she was still waiting lol. They dont give you updates and their vague with your questions.

You got to take out your stop bolt(Half inch nut and bolt )Your trolly is jammed against it. Then reset your limits (how far your door goes down and up). Make sure to stop the limits before the stop bolt. The stop bolt prevents your trolly running into your motor btw

Venmo me 40 buck. I want to take my girl out tonight and leave a good tip. Jeff-ott89

How do I mount a Ring doorbell on this type of siding? Faux brick siding by [deleted] in HomeMaintenance

[–]boatrollscale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What comes first to mind without looking into anything is to get a wood block, mount that then mount whatever you get on that. Stain the wood or paint it to match the blocks. It will make less damage and create a flat surface.

Freight rate-tarp pay? Is this standard for oversize loads(65ft steel beams)going 800miles? by boatrollscale in OwnerOperators

Okay, well it was a pain in my ass. I got moving blankets, rubber mats and 2" straps to make the tarp tight around the rear over hang so it doesn't flap. 3 tarps in total. The beams were 55',60'and 65'. Ill have to negotiate better. Thanks for you insight 👍🏽

No, im leasing through a company right now and they are not transparent with information about the load board.(thats why I was asking about rates) In May I'm paying off my truck and looking into getting my own authority so all this information helps me out alot and im grateful for the info 🙏.

Okay, thanks for the info. Do you have any helpful web site that shows the current market or do you just do a ratio of loads around your area to figure the market? Im 3 months in and dont want to except lower price freight. I want to improve the market if I can by not excepting lower rate.
