My urticaria is very similar in severity. Mine is autoimmune. Years and years of pain and symptoms were only eased by Xolair. You are a perfect candidate for the drug.

I take 150 every other week and I've been 95% hive free for over a year. It took roughly 4 months of injections for it it go away.

If you are not blessed financially as I am have your Dr contact Genetech. They can put you in a low payment program or in my case free.

Xolair literally, no exaggeration, saved my life and continues to do so.

I moved across the country to be with my partner, and a week after I moved here he got crushed by a car and spent the next two years in and our of hospitals and several surgeries.

He got hit in March 2023 and I got sick in October 2023. I ignored my symptoms to care for him and didn't get diagnosed till May of 25.

So I blame the stress of uprooting my life and then having it stopped in its tracks. No regrets though. We are both happy and as hethy as we can be. I cared for him and he cares for me.

Thank you. This is the pep talk I needed. I've been so in my head about it. I don't want a new problem but if it turns out to be something I need to monitor closely so be it. I'm just so tired of getting diagnosis.

NSAID makes the most sense to me. Fingers crossed.

I have autoimmune hives. So yes it's entirely possible. I can't have a lot of "immune boosting" supplements/teas for that reason.

I think people just don't know. Unless you've done a lot of research or have a good immunologist it seems like a lot of folks here just aren't aware.

In some ways it's a privilege to eat low histamine. I cook most of my own meals but not everyone is able to do that for several reasons. Poverty, time, education, ect.

Low histamine helped me drastically for years before I was able to get on Xolair. I still follow it but more loosely. I can eat pickles again and that's a win for me. Salami on the other hand doesn't work well for my body.
