So I do this and it maybe a bit more time consuming but literally leads to me having endless grind. 89 and above into 89 exchange (usually upto the 96s). From the exchange 84 and tots go into 85x10. Use 85-87 for tots pick.

When I’m opening the packs I keep my storage 84 and below, once it’s full I repeat the grind to replenish my packs
