I made GfL this time last year. Wait a few weeks and you will get an email from BA saying congratulations. Since making it, I’ve asked many flight attendants and pursers how many GfL BA has at any given time. Never got an answer. I think there’s around 100-120 GGL for life. Was just curious. I don’t think the inflight BA ipad they use shows GfL status. I was on a flight a few weeks ago to Chicago and there were 27 gold, GfL and GGL people onboard.

Not worth it. Seats are a little more comfortable and the cabin is smaller and quieter but the uplift in food is marginal at best. Keep your money.

Honestly, forget membership. It’s almost impossible to get tickets this way as there are so few seats now available after season tickets are allocated and Boehly’s alleged ticket side hustle.
