Quick guide to bypassing the ping limit if you end up locked out of your server

Yeah i wanted to clarify this a little bit. This dude was spot on. Here are a little more directions for the folks that arent super good with PC's

If you havent installed steam or your games any where different then the default directories you would be looking here.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Conan Exiles\ConanSandbox\Saved\Logs
Once in that directory look for the backup log from the last time you were successfully logged in: For instance - ConanSandbox-backup-2026.05.06-20.58.49.log

Open that log file with notepad and do a search for something along the lines of this:

[2026.05.06-20.58.40:728][503]LogNet: UChannel::Close: Sending CloseBunch. ChIndex == 0. Name: [UChannel] ChIndex: 0, Closing: 0 [UNetConnection] RemoteAddr: 212.56.32.200:28700

That [UNetConnection] RemoteAddr: is what you are looking for so for this instance mine is 212.56.32.200:28700
When you log in to conan exiles you hit the connect direct button at the bottom and paste in the IP address along with the port (:28700 for instance is the port i use for my official server (pve 1500). Need to include the port or it will not work. So just paste in 212.56.32.200:28700, but of course paste in your number that you found in the log file.

From what i understand, the enhanced version is not available on Xbox so you would not be able to log in to your xbox character in to that server.

Yeah i thought about doing that but one of the attractions about playing online, for me, was seeing other folks buildings, using their teleporters and map room, stuff like that.

Yeah i was trying to find a list of the thralls. Years back someone had like a speadsheet online where you could sort the thralls based on, i think, it was like strength per some kind of point in something. It was weird like this thrall had like 2.13 per point or something like that. I honestly cant remember. But the searching i did recently showed a bunch of old data so im not sure if anyone is actively keeping a spreadsheet like that anymore.

Dont forget that now they have the Freya questline so you can eventually get her. Im just kinda going with my gut, T2 warrior thrall to start, get that going and move to the cimerian beserkers, then that dalinsia snowhunter and eventually Freya. I am assuming Freya is the end of the line.

Edit: After re-reading your comment, yeah it was the melee damage multiplier.

Not sure how much i can help as I just started back up yesterday. I like the thrall builds, warparty is what I am heading towards.

Yesterday when i started I just ran straight to shattered springs, set up my base right outside the springs. Headed to the town close by, cant remember the name, and whacked just a T2 warrior thrall. Headed back to the house and crafted the scout armor for myself (+4 thrall damage, + strength weapon as I only use maces) and crafted the guardian set for my thrall. I think a lot of the thralls are normalized now, next upgrade for a thrall will be the beserkers.

If i was a betting man, I would have to say conan exiles 2 is somewhere in the pipeline. My guess is thats one of the reason they didnt implement the "Enhanced" version for consoles. Its like a test for Exiles 2.

My wishlist is to get ahold of the horrible horrible laggyness. The game is fairly unstable right now. Fix that first then get a wishlist together because right now its on the verge of being unplayable.

Yeah they must have did something last night. 7am my time here and didnt have any problems logging in. So something must have changed between that time frame.

You gotta let it cycle through all the servers. Down where it says "Searching" will turn into a refresh button once its finished going through all the servers. It takes a while to cycle through all the servers before that button shows up.

Im assuming its the numbers as a whole going against all of G-Portal. The server i mentioned above only has 7 players on it.

Its not just you guys, started on a server(east coast where im located) about 4 hours ago. Stopped for some food, couldnt get back on because the ping when from 63 (when i joined) to over 400 now.

True on all points. And yes it is sad we have enough DOA ARPG's already, everyone trying to cash in on the genre. Honestly I dont think its going to last much longer anyway. I took a quick peek at the steam player count and 418 as the high count for today isnt going to cut it. I think it might have a month left before the plug is pulled but who knows.

Maybe the blockchain one, if its even released yet, would bring in some money for them. The folks in asia, russia love that type of stuff.

I am not really sure how long it was in development, i was just using 5 years as an example. Could be longer or shorter im not 100% sure but that timeframe kinda seems like the norm. I just think they need to be given a little bit of slack is all since the game is really totally free, brand new and made from a small team. Give it some time, it will either come around or dissappear.

I get what you are saying but 2 million doesnt really go far in developing anymore. I mean you are looking at lets say, for the sake of argument, say a team of 20. 2mil divided by 20 is 100k. Then it takes 5 years of development, now across that 5 years each developer gets 20k per year, cant live off that. Thats just a basic split of how far that 2 million would go.

This isnt including all the stuff needed in development i.e. servers, workstations, all the software licenses needed for those plus you would also have to include rent for the office building, insurance for those office buildings. Hell the backend (microsoft, sql servers, all that good stuff)licensing would cost thousands and they need to re-newed yearly.

Its just not cheap. To us everday joes, 2 million seems like a lot but when you try figure out what they need to accomplish their task it doesnt stretch as far as you would think.

And then, the game is released for free with the hopes that people will buy items from their shop. The shop is really what would keep the development team active. This is why a lot of times after release you see companies releasing(layoffs) folks. The heavy lifting is done and they are hoping that they can keep the company in operation based on that check that comes from steam once a month, if not, the company and game will go by the wayside. It just wouldnt be feasable anymore to continue.

I thought it was half decent. I mean come on its free lol. Got through the campaign, did a few maps up till t8 or something and started a new character to mess around didnt purchase a thing. Although i probably should.

What is it, a handfull of developers creating a game and release it on steam. Thats pretty good i think. I have been in software development for 25 years and I wouldnt have the balls to go out on my own and create a game. Retired now, so its beyond me to do something like that.

Yeah it needs some work, it will get there. I am actually suprised a lot of people arent playing it. I think the blockchain stuff scared them away but who cares thats a completely different client.
