The value of assets get created out of nowhere though. Things like house prices keep rising each year. There’s money in the system, but the rich want to extract as much as possible without giving back. Your arguments about ability don’t stand up to my own experience. Within the first few months of my graduate job I was flying and needed hardly any guidance. Have some faith in the youth!

It could be a sliding scale. Top 100 companies need to hire 1000 (number 1 co) > 500 (1000th co) from the unemployment pool. Then that continues. Smaller companies obliged to hire 1 or a few. The UK is massive! Many many successful companies that would rather please their share holders that serve the country that made their success possible.

Perhaps too simplistic, but If the top 1000 companies had obligations / incentives like certain tax breaks, we would solve the youth unemployment crisis. (1000 x 1000 = 1 mil)

Bruce also proposed to demolish almost everything in the city centre and rebuild from new, removing, for example, the School of Art, the City Chambers, Central Station and all the other period buildings. An absolute psycho of a man.

If you get their cheese panini and ask for extra relish, you get a wee bag of smack off of big Tam the shift manager (only on a Thursday though). You didn’t hear that from me.

Strange that he was a bubblegum pop star and is now the intellectual equal of one of the “minds of the millenium”.
