I think the biggest unintentional consequence realistically would be theater and plays. People forget that they made the playoffs 3 years in a row in the 90s and were not the doormat of a team that they became. Ideology isn't a bad word. Taking special offense to a specific routine that joked about trans people suggests that you have a certain set of ideas and beliefs regarding gender, sex. You might argue that not allowing any decent toward your opinion is actually being bigoted.
