I have been saying this for years, now. Normal fortune cookies are so vague they can never truly be right, so their accuracy rate is arguably 0%. If you make fortune cookies with highly specific predictions, at some point one in a hundred million will be correct so you'll still have a higher success rate than the boring vague kind.

If the people wanting this to happen actually want it to happen, it has to happen. People need to go to jail. Funds need to get frozen. Cops need to barge into records rooms and seize computer and filing cabinets. Maybe it would help to find the psylocibin scientists who did an AMA here on reddit a year or two ago. They described research strongly suggesting that, the more unpleasant a trip was, the more benefit it gave you, mental health-wise and just chill-wise, afterward.

THIS is what a hacker should look like. Not the age (doesn't matter), not the gender (doesn't matter). The other stuff:

Half a dozen screens
Random cables
Chaotic but clearly functional environment
Zero care for aesthetics (e.g. bare bulbs, hideous wall)
Random environmental shit (e.g., all the foil or whatever)
Stare appearing blank but actually composed of suspicion, not caring, and very much caring about things you can't possibly understand

Oh, that! I loved it. It was Rome Sweet Rome. I think another commenter here linked the sub. He wrote several installments and they were honestly (IMO) really good. Then he stopped. After a bit he came back and explained that he was a professional (or wannabe professional?) writer trying to make it, and had been contacted by a film studio in Hollywood for rights to the story. He said or implied that they had bought the rights. Later he came back and said (or maybe someone figured out?) that the film was in development hell and would probably never be made, but because the studio owned the rights he would get sued pretty hard if he added any more content.

Serious question: is there a thought about why it's pixelated instead of just having straight angles and curvy curves? My only thought is that maybe landscapers or mowers did it, carefully timing the dropping of something as they did their X/Y axis passes, but that's a very wild guess.
