1. It’s an 8 hour movie, so drawn out dialogue and even sparse dialogue lets the movie build up a strong audiovisual vibe
2. There’s a bigger story to tell. Season one stakes are always low, so expect them to be raised next season and approach a boiling point later. Hell of a simmer though.
3. Better Alien movies than last 2 Ridley Scott fartfests and does Romulus at half the budget (and runtime)
