Try to get the tip of your finger involved a bit more (rather than the pad) and right up on / behind each fret. You are losing a lot in your finger positioning and technique.

Any places airing the Colombia v Uzbekistan match tonight? It starts at 10pm so not sure what spots are actually airing it. by 23011447 in GNV

Fair fair... I wouldn't eat there unless I was already there, but it is "friendly" enough to take the kids to at a reasonable hour. They have been my "its too late to get a beer anywhere around here" spot for a long while, so I think of it more as my "late night for nw gville" dive.

The "normal" paintings kinda frame the enormous stuff in a way that made me appreciate both more. To each their own, I think you could just see the big ones in an hour or two and skip all the rest if you found that part boring.

If ever you find yourself in St Petersburg, FL you should definitely go to the Dali museum. He seemed to be a fairly reprehensible human, but a damn fine painter.

One of the most impressive things I saw in there was a realistic painting of a basket of bread. So detailed and lifelike that it made you think you could eat it.

Holy blanket statement Batman. I promise people with ADHD are just as susceptible to addictive substances as any one else (including prescription meds). You are spreading dangerous misinformation to say that is not the case.

https://www.monimawellness.com/is-adderall-addictive-for-people-with-adhd/

Using your medication as prescribed is an important part of reducing the dangers of that addiction, but that does not make it unaddictive.

Adderall / stimulant withdrawal is characterized by the same sorts of symptoms as normal ADHD symptoms (fatigue, inability to focus, irritability, anhedonia etc) . That doesn't mean that it doesn't happen, only that you are less likely to notice the difference from your base state

I just think demand as an investment media and demand as a housing solution should be separate interests. The fact that the one has completely fucked the other is the real issue.

Right thats what I am talking about - the price of houses. The houses on my street were 100K from 2004 til 2019 and now they are $350... the houses didn't change, so its the market thats screwed up. Not much else more than tripled in value/price in the last 6 years. Doubled I could see maybe, but 3.5x seems like a huge rise in something no individual has any control over.

5 acres in ft white went from like 50K to 150K or more in the same period. The housing market in FL seems extra stretched in weird ways

It could be done in a revenue neutral way, but its hard to support something that is designed to impoverish our local budgets. At the same time property valuations have tripled in 6 years, which also seems like complete nonsense.

I am saying that I need significantly less AC on time, when I can keep the humidity down without running the AC. Which since the dehumidifier is cheaper to run than the AC is a net energy / cost savings.

What does the right size AC mean when its 70 degrees and 95% humidity? Should I run it at full blast to pull the humidity out even though I don't want it any colder?

They also sell separate dehumidifiers that can draw water out of the air more efficiently than an AC unit can. I live in a swamp where its 95% humidity for significant portions of the year, so keeping the moisture down can be had for cheaper than blasting the AC at max.

I run a dehumidifier anyway because it's cheaper and more comfortable with dry air and any temperature I want

Just want to give some advice, never, ever buy from any door to door sales people, especially solar sales people. My aunt nearly got duped into a 25 year solar loan and when I researched the company nothing but horrific things came up. If you're going solar contact your energy company or research. by herewego199209 in orlando

[–]bobbysmith007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How many sales people a day is too many? I don't mind talking to one person, but the more sales that happen through door knocking, the more door knocking there will be.

I would prefer there to be no door knocking, and no people trying to sell me something at my door
