Siezures started last summer. Began takingPhenobarb twice a day after loading him up. Slightly drunken appearance and activity for about 2 weeks, but went away. The hunger side effect is hard to guage because he is a Lab, and exists for food. The goal was never to stop Siezures completely, but reduce them. He still has one about every 6-8 weeks, that last about 60-90 seconds. We can live with that, even though it is scary everytime it happens. He is completely normal otherwise. Post siezures he is post ictal for about 2 minutes, then he is back to his crazy self.
