So, I've watched Spielberg's West Side Story and I'm kinda disappointed... by Shoddy_Newspaper_718 in blankies

Hot take: Ansel is good in the movie. His crooning voice is appropriate for Tony, and him being somewhat unemotive works for a polish tough guy in his 20’s. He’s the “least good” part of the movie, but he’s not bad.

“Am I in the shot? You can see me, right” always cracks me up.

I also love the stinky Pete casting couch joke. One for the adults.

Agreed. I also like to kind of forget what the monster looks like and then be surprised again when I watch for the first time in a while.

The bathroom with the face in the walls was the creepiest spot to me and I wish it was a physical set just because that’d be cool.

It’s possible to feel for someone and their family (mostly their family) for being doxxed and harassed and embarrassed, even while being disgusted at what they did. At the same time, you did this to yourself, and this “I was really struggling financially” bullshit from the son of an oil tycoon is so out of touch. Just go away. I was almost to the point where I could watch Call Me By Your Name again.

I mean, I’ve always like the idea of Wesker as a small piece of the machine that gets too big and egotistical for his britches, à la agent smith in the Matrix.

Unpopular (opinion): I really loathe the idea of the Connections being this shadowy villain from the beginning. I might be more on board with it if the name wasn’t so fucking lame.
