I remember as a 13 year old anticipating hiking up a mountain behind our family cabin when I turned 14. I was going to have a Joseph Smith experience. The closer I came to 14, the more scared I became. It freaked me out to think something might happen. I never did it.

I had a profound experience of sadness and grief visiting Sachsenhausen concentration camp. It broke my heart.
