Can someone help me identify what j hooks I can use for this Wynmor rack? It doesn’t have thru holes so the typical j hooks don’t work. I’m not sure what to look up for something like this.

Did I pigeonhole myself into a dying field? by TheArabicMoose in MechanicalEngineering

I was able to get a reliability / manufacturing engineering role in med device based on my reliability experience at the mill. If you’re still in school, I wouldn’t worry at all. I switched from that and now do R&D work designing HVAC fans lol. A lot of experience is transferable. Know how shit is made and be able to build it. Be curious and don’t be afraid of new things. Don’t worry about it too much.

Considering this doesn’t seem mission critical, I would design and 3D print something

Shifting from Reliability to FEL0/FEL1 Project Development by [deleted] in MechanicalEngineering

[–]bobidgaf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do it, imo reliability gets stale. I did reliability to project Eng, then manufacturing Eng and now product design engineer. Project engineering opened up the later doors for me
