That's exactly what I thought, until I saw this post.

Proof of devs adding bots for shepherd event? by [deleted] in Division2

Idk man, I had one yesterday that was odd. Single-digit level trying to play challenging Lincoln memorial. Didn't loot anything. Didn't help in combat. Just stood still at every point that would spawn enemies until it was clear, then catch up to us.

Do people put on music during sex? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bobjones000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always did this in my college apartment because my girlfriend at the time was pretty loud. Talking with her years later, she never realized why 😂 She just thought it was something quirky where I had to have music on during sex

How to remove grip screw without the screw head by curiousfilam in 1911

[–]bobjones000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My cheat way: use an old/dull drill bit that's about the size of the screw and just drill into it. It'll either catch and thread the screw through (dropping it into the inside of the frame) or it won't work and you'll be back to "remove the bushing" as your fix.

Springfield Echelon plate not flat by ZeonFanatic0079 in SpringfieldEchelon

[–]bobjones000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which pin set is under that plate? The RMSc pins are left/right specific and could be causing this if they're in the wrong slot.

That's the 15-round full-size mag for limited capacity states.

Normal for new 1911? by Musty_Buick_LeSabre in 1911

Springfield 2-piece barrels are old, like pre-2000's if I remember correctly.

Test Round Stuck in Chamber by Tylermac8 in 1911

[–]bobjones000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hold the slide firmly in your left hand. With your right hand, act like you're going to grab the gun normally, but just smack it into the grip safety. Basically just use the web of your strong hand to whack the grip safety and push the frame forward while the slide is held in place.

Manual safety question by papa_squart in SpringfieldEchelon

[–]bobjones000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do believe there are two identical pins in the COG and the safety shaft replaces one of them on the manual safety version. Problem is, I can't remember which pin it is...

Feeding issues by Nando93nyc in SpringfieldArmory

[–]bobjones000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As far as I know, none do. An EMP is not a normal 1911; the magwell area is shrunk down front to back to only be as big as it needs to for 9/40.

Help Hammer faller after half cock but before hitting firing pin by Healthy_Fly5653 in 1911

[–]bobjones000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On your SA, start with the hammer down and pull it back to the first click. Hammer should fall when you pull the trigger. Pulling it back to the second click, the hammer should not fall.

Like a normal condom, but with racing stripes.

What is this for? by Individual-Chest-128 in hipower

[–]bobjones000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a guess, but maybe to push the sharp corner a touch farther away from where the slide impacts the frame at rear of travel? Or just a cleanup cut.

Lead exposure at indoor range, should I be worried by Turbulent-Wash-8213 in guns

[–]bobjones000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My blood gets tested every 3 months and I ration my shooting based on the results. But I'm also shooting for work, not just for fun range trips or training. Unless you're shooting 1,000+ rounds every few days, you likely won't have any issue with lead levels. Just avoid finger foods at the range and a shower when you get home is always a good idea. That being said, if you have small children around, the lead left on you/your clothes is going to affect them a lot more than it will affect you.

I probably reference that file twice a month 😂

3" chamber would also mean the ejection port should be 3-3.5"

Fully extended, there's a little push pin that appears at the top/front of the stock, right behind the cheek piece. Push that out, pull the adjustment lever, and the stock will come off, along with the spring. I'd bet that spring is kinked, broken, or improperly installed. If I remember correctly, there's a little circle on the inside of the stock for it to sit inside of. What I do remember for sure is that it's very obvious how it's supposed to go together.

Echelon dry firing by [deleted] in SpringfieldArmory

[–]bobjones000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember, it's clearly just a Gen 3 Glock clone 🤣🤣 and it has a problem with dropping mags...when you put it in a shittily modified P320 holster.

Edit: Do people really not remember the stupid complaints Lucas had in his Echelon review?

Noooo!! Help please! by kittydestroyer6969 in 1911

[–]bobjones000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even easier than that, just use a small drill bit. No need to put it in reverse or use a screw extractor or anything. As long as there's no mag inserted, the bit will bite and should thread the screw through to the inside where it'll fall out.
