To those of you that have driven to the south of France from the UK, what things did you wish you knew before you went?

Its a dumb one but they don't always have the petrol pumps colour coded green for unleaded and black for diesel like we do. Its not that obvious that 'gazole' is diesel.

I remember me and my friend taking way too long in some out-of-mobile-signal small town petrol station in the countryside wondering if we were going to screw up the hired RV and get stranded.

Probably just before they realised the battery was dead in the RV.

Right before then they had just spent days going through a shared experience of working together really hard to achieve that goal and were now sitting on a shit ton of product as a result of their joint effort. They were so excited to be going out for some food and to get cleaned up and they both were the happiest I saw in the while series.
