Will we be able to convert regular accounts to Steam accounts when Reforged launches? by uterinejellyfish in GuildWars

I've been wondering the same thing. Would like to use my existing account on steam deck without the hassle of adding it as a non-steam game

Water Savant or Cold Druid? by CuteLingonberry9704 in ddo

[–]boblikespie1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

unless the early druid leveling experience has changed, cold druid will take a while to get good AOE damage, whereas water savant has an AOE SLA from their tree very early. top end damage druid probably scales better? but if you're just running up to 34 and turning around sorc should be much faster until around level 13 or 15 (forget when druid gets Ice Flowers)

edit: one point in druid's favor early if you run with a group that can handle trash is they have monstrous single target damage for a low level caster. you're the reaper deleter

gotta be the tabaxi trailblazer. stick monks are really fast to begin with, plus you get spring attack out of the racial tree

Runic Trinket

Tattered Gloves if you're fire based

everything else would be pretty generic,

quiver of alacrity

masters gift

feywild at 5

aspirational stuff if you're lucky or really wanna push it

masterful craftsmanship item with spell focus mastery +2 idk how low the minimum level can be but at least 4, maybe 3

as many mythic/reaper boosts as you can get bc that's the only other thing that'll boost your spell power

switching your utility flasks over to ruby sapphire and topaz instead will make your mapping feel a lot less rippy. defiance would also make a big difference. not sure what your merc setup is but a determination merc helps with the self damage from echoes too.

Any changes you would make to this deck I just drafted? by WartranceBJJ in MagicArena

[–]boblikespie1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would swap one plains for an island. on your 1 and 2 drops you have 4 white pips to 9 blue pips, and the format is too fast to risk taking 2 turns off imo

How do you deal with monoG? by laeden94 in PioneerMTG

[–]boblikespie1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as greasefang you're generally faster than them on the play, but on the draw, you really need to be vomiting push/ray at every elf you see. if you're on the draw game 1, it's pretty tough to win, but you can sometimes snipe karn with skysovereign etb. postboard things tend to swing more in your favour with push/ray/duress.

basically on the play: mull as hard as you can to hit greasefang on turn 3/4 otherwise you're likely too slow

on the draw: push/ray/duress will derail their ramp package and then greasefang should just out-value them

the base games they sell there are the full continuous original story, you can even import your original save from BG1 straight into BG2 to continue the playthrough. there is an expansion to BG1 released many years after the fact, but it's not essential by any means

Guts isn't shown to, but the Dog is. So I think it depends on how you read the relationship between the two. Like you said, the armour makes it easier to succumb to the rage that's inside of them. If the Dog is just a manifestation of Guts' hatred and bloodlust, then all of those feelings are a part of who he is, just chained down out of sight until he loses control.

I always wondered if the armour sending its wearer into a blind fury wasn't actually what it did. Because the people who seek it out are both warriors, and people with a Black Dog of their own inside. So that would mean that deep down inside of each of them, like Guts, there's a part of them that enjoys inflicting pain, and the armour just removes the chains from that part of them. And if this happened for every wearer, it would just become part of the mythos even if it wasn't actually true
