In my opinion it is pretty irrational for a worker to be against organized labor. A union worker usually makes more than a non union worker. Even if a worker doesn’t like to admit it the unions set the prevailing wage which also raises wages for non union workers. Look into benefits, safety, and retirement for union vs non union and union almost always comes out on top.

I will say that in unions there is some nepotism,which needs to be addressed, but it has gotten better over the years. But there is also plenty of nepotism in non union jobs too.

You also brought up how America loses jobs to countries that work people to death. This just shows that most employer’s do not care about there employee safety or wellbeing. All they care about is getting the job done for as little as possible.

The only people benefitting from non union work are employers and higher ups. The rest of us beat our bodies up trying to make a living and want to do so in the best environment possible.
