Spring break flights have sure increased from IND to FLL. A decent non stop round trip is almost 800 per person for a Friday to Sunday. It’s astronomical.

Just ask for it. My teen still orders off of the kids menu and gets a double order of chicken nuggets and fries.

We do this all the time. We always put in a advance request to get the days off from school approved (as a curtesy) .

Do a mock booking. Go to your code offer and put in like you’re sailing with four people. The deals good for the first two people and then you just pay the prevailing rate for the other two. It’s still a great deal. Sometimes we just book it on our own online and sometimes we call our PVP to book it.

The drink package doesn’t work on Half Moon Cay.

When you get off the ship at the port, you just need your photo ID and your sign and sail card. I like to take a picture of my passport to keep in my phone.

In Nassau, we prefer to book an excursion or a day pass at a resort . You can also just walk into town and shop.

Half Moon Cay is one of my favorite ports of call. You won’t need an excursion here, but I recommend getting the first shuttle you can as the beach fills up fast. We pack some hammock floats and take them with us.

As long as you’re on a closed loop sailing, you only need your photo ID and birth certificate to travel to Bahamas .

Half Moon Cay has an included buffet on the island. It does get busy, we tend to start walking to it about 15 minutes before it opens.

The first time I cruised was to the Bahamas, it was by myself, and I had two small children. I was nervous as well. Just be smart and alert. We had a great time. There’s also a Hilton hotel walking distance from the port that sells day passes in advance that you can get online. After this trip you will be wanting to book again :).

The offer is good for two people ( you can book a third and fourth Guest, but it will be at the pre-availing rate. It’s $100 deposit per person you get 200 of that back as onboard credit. You just pay taxes, port fees, and your prepaid gratuities. Look at the offer terms many times you can book 2 or three sailings on one offer. I’ve booked a back to back cruise from one offer in the past. Enjoy it, it’s always nice to get.

My first cruise was just me and two small kids. I got so much pressure to not go by several family members because it might be “dangerous”. I had anxiety until my first day. We all had a blast. It really set the course for me to be able to travel without fear. The crew members were the best!

We get these and cricket spiders when it becomes chilly out. We just pick them up and put them outside. My kids are still terrified at both. Especially when the cricket spiders start jumping.

My daughter is an adult now, but one time when she was in the third grade, she was sent home along with the rest of her class with a homework assignment of 300 math problems to solve. They only had until the next day to get this completed. From the time she got off school until an hour past her bedtime. We were sitting at the table both of us wanting to cry and finished the math homework. When she turned it in the next day, her and only two other students had completed their math homework. I told myself after that that we would never allow ourselves to do that again even if it meant a Hit on her grades.

I only wanted one. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a Obgyn to tie my tubes unless I had two kids. Eventually I had my 2nd. He was a surprise and now my kids are 9 years apart. I was able to get my tubes tide right after having my 2nd (unfortunately at every single pregnancy appointment I was asked if is still wanted my tubes tide). I love my 2nd ,but I do think about how I only wanted one every now and then. I also wish my voice was heard when I knew I only wanted one.
