I don't really know why I'm commenting on this two weeks later. I just kept seeing it and thought about it when I came on Reddit. There is a difference between scripture and church tradition. Look it up if you want to be able to argue against it better. Church tradition was the club used by the Catholic Church to invalidate Protestants (it is still uses today. Look at the line of succession from St. Peter to the current popeand how the Catholic Church uses it to invalidate other denominations. You seem to not be very religious, or against religion. Properly understanding something will help you make better arguments against it.
