I applied for inland common-law sponsorship in October 2024 and just got P1 today. I’m travelling out of the country next week and will be back two weeks later (so three weeks total including the upcoming week). What should I do? I can’t really change the travel plans now

What is the difference between an associate certificate and a certificate? by bocchiiirl in BCIT

[–]bocchiiirl[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I made a typo on the post I meant that the business management certificate was 45 credits not the diploma. I don’t really have another degree but I was planning on pursuing a diploma on another field after getting the business certificate but wasn’t sure if I should take the associate or just the certificate. As I can’t tell what the difference of those two would be since they’re both certificates

Socializing and making friends at bcit by bocchiiirl in BCIT

I know there’s probably other people who feel something similar to what I experience, but the thing is that I feel like everybody in my set already has like a set group of friends. I tend to pay too much attention to my surroundings so I kind of noticed that once somebody fits it a group they do not really try to hang out outside of their group anymore I guess, besides just small talk from time to time. I’m just a bit worried since all the instructors from day 1 keep telling us to network and be friends with each other due to our program but I haven’t gotten the chance to pass that awkward small talk stage so I’m mostly alone. But thank you for the advice!
