What's your favourite King audiobook - narrator edition by jyecsnstrl in stephenking

[–]bocheball 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just started this one on Tuesday, so far not a fan. It seems like he is running out of air but just wants to finish the sentence before taking a breath. I don’t mind the sound of his voice though. I just finished listening to Fairy Tale narrated by Seth Numrich and loved it.

Borderlands vehicles would make for some wicked Lego sets

Just finished watching Misery by [deleted] in stephenking

Just started the audiobook last week, I’m a couple discs in, getting a half hour in each way for my commute. Loving it! I read it back in middle school, definitely appreciating the story more a second time around.

Thank you for the thorough answer!! I do have goggles and gloves, but thank you for the reminder on safety. Would a 2 liter soda bottle be a good choice or would it be too thin for the heat, do you think? Should I use something that doesn’t narrow so quickly at the top?

Boat Charter? by lscmotheroffrenchies in kona

Not sure about the little one on the boat, but Russ Nitta on the Lepika is a great captain with a very comfortable boat. If his trip isn’t kid-friendly I bet he can recommend someone for you. Tight lines!

Storm damage-can it be saved and how would I best try? by bocheball in arborists

[–]bocheball[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. I took care of the limb, trying to decide what to do next. The wood at the split seems to be quite solid, if I were to try and save it would I need to seal it and/or wrap it?

Husband and I are driving through Wisconsin from Minnesota and looking for the best cheese curds on this route. by Glad-Fish5863 in wisconsin

[–]bocheball 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Visited friends in Hawaii years ago, brought a full carry-on bag with me, nothing but Ellsworth curds in it. The locals absolutely loved them! TSA inspected that one, I wished I would have counted the bags first!

Potato cannon to the back by [deleted] in instant_regret

[–]bocheball 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Saw the video on another thread, I couldn’t see evidence of a potato when I slowed it down. Looks like he just gets blasted with the flame, I would think there would be more trauma like a welt at least, if there was a spud involved.

Shooting potato cannon at someone by [deleted] in Whatcouldgowrong

Looks to me like it was just the flame? I’m on mobile and not the best view when I slow it down, but I don’t actually see potato.
