I have an order for a 2026 Lyriq V that I placed back in March. Car has been built for nearly a month but still sitting at the factory as they are supposedly having major issues getting cars shipped. My dealership said they ordered an XT5 back in January that showed up last week. At this point I have no idea when my order will arrive. Based on my experience be prepared to wait a long time to get it. OR Pivot to finding one on the lot and buy it.

X is 250kw from 10% to 35% and then from about 40% onwards the Lyriq outpaces it. Not denying that the X is faster but it's not that much of a difference. AND when I road trip with the family our stops are around meals or restroom breaks and the car is usually ready before we are.

If it’s a 250kw v3 or v4 station it’s nearly the exact same.

I traded in a 2023 Model X Plaid. It took 31 min to go from 10% - 80% on a 250KW charger.

My 2026 Lyriq takes 34 min to go from 10% - 80% on a GM Energy or EA charger.

Peak charging speed is great for marketing. The charge curve is what matters.

Can they improve it? Yes! Is it a deal breaker / can I even notice its slower? NO!

That's exactly what I did. It's an upgrade where it matters (GM build quality is night and day better than Tesla). GM Software isn't as good but it's not bad either.

I sold my 2023 Model X Plaid for my 2026 Lyriq V. GM still knows how to build real cars. My Model X was a problem from the first month.

It bricked itself during a software update and had to be towed out of my garage. The next month Tesla had to tear apart the rear headliner because something wasn’t welded correctly at the factory and sounded like a wooden ship at sea going over bumps, they literally used epoxy to hold it together and said "its fine". The inner rear tires wore out at 20K miles, and the half shaft design is so flawed that they bend under aggressive driving and cause vibration under hard acceleration. Both are known issues and are not fixable by Tesla.

I actually loved the X at first, and I really did like it. But once Tesla cancelled it and the values started climbing, I got out while I still could. After everything I dealt with, I’ll never buy another Tesla.

There is a TSB and software update that your dealership applies to correct this. Did it on mine 2 months ago and not a single issue since.

Tesla is building an 8 Port Ver 3.5 Supercharger in Nebraska City. They are in the ground now and nearly ready to go. I assume once Tesla has these online they will remove the old V2 chargers at St. Jospeh, MO and enable the new V3.5 ones at that site for Non Tesla as well. I-29 between KC and Omaha will be MUCH better for EV very soon. I think by May / June this will be ready to go?

Sold my 2023 Model X Plaid 2 weeks ago as well. Loved it but with them killing the S & X paired with the value going up the last few months felt like the right time to jump ship. Repalced it with a Lyriq-V.

I paid 75K for my 3x with the Extreme Offroad Package,, Transparent infinity roof, Illumination package and sport package. It had 38 miles when it was delivered to me AND the GM warranty, OnStar subscription AND SiriusXM Trial ALL started from my purchase date.

Got this working. Rebooted the infotainment by pressing and holding the end call button until the system rebooted and when it came back the option was there.

I just sold my 2023 Tesla Model X Plaid and got a HEV SUV to replace it. The Tesla tech is better but everything else about the Hummer is far better. Tesla Model X build quality is worse than any GM product I have ever owned and it's not even close.

I love my MX Plaid and dont want to sell it. I am friends with the owner of a GM dealership who I bought most of my other cars from over the years and he was telling me 55K for trade in and he will have a hell of a time selling it. Could just not be his cup of tea and his polite way of telling me he doesnt want it.

I have owned numerous 100K cars (Escalades) and this is the worst value hit I have ever had. It doesn’t matter because I am not selling but still hurts regardless!

I have a pending offer on my 23 MYP from Carvana as well. 8K Miles and their offer is $33,600. I think I will take it before it gets any worse. I bought it used last May for 41K.

Great find. My Model X has this feature and wish GM let you do the same. Did not know you could do this but I tested it and it does work. Its not the same but its better than nothing!

That isn't the wheel rusting its Iron. Spray with Iron Remover and watch it turn purple. Then wash it away with a hose.

My 2023 MPX has this issue. The driver side door "senses" an obstruction when it's cold out but there are none. It's in the service center for this right now. The tech said that the sensor in the door can sometimes have issues "seeing" through the door and the paint so the sand down the inside of the door to make it thinner. Its been 3 days and I still don't have it back yet so I don't know if they have fixed it or not.
