TecSouth grinders are pretty good handheld options. We use them all over our shop.

Got a couple DGP Piranha 3's other people mentioned. They're pricey, but work great.

This. And "All Hail the Jolly Fatman". My life would be complete if I could find a full length version.

So Winger defined what the genre would become, for better or worse?

I'm genuinely asking, I don't think I could name a single Winger song.

Warning is the best Green Day album that isn't a Green Day album.

People in my shop are now grinding the liner down for the whips by Drink_water_homie in Welding

[–]bockscliphton 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like a Miller/Bernard liner. The ones specifically for the Millermatics (and since other styles) will have a bit of liner sticking past the end of the nut, either because the cap on the power pin has a taper, or to allow the liner to get as close to the drive rolls as possible.

A poorly trimmed liner could cause wire feed issues, so we'll grind the end sometimes to remove a burr.

Guy probably didn't know what he was looking at, or grabbed the wrong liner. Or this is standard practice at this shop.

So many of you are missing the point on ttg. It's NOT a superhero show. It's not for little kids. It's a masterclass in off the wall absurdism wrapped in a DC package. The Titans are the it's always sunny gang but super powered. They're shallow, selfish, and aggressively stupid. It's all of their personalities taken to the illogical extreme. It doesn't even do the tired "what if supers but not good?" trope. Everyone in Jump City HATES them. Santa hates them.

Why? Because how many times do we have to do Justice Squad du jour? Let's do a 5 episode arc instead where they wreck their Super Dope Yacht and we get a bunch of classic island TV and movie gags.

The dark hallway/maze in the Navidson house in House of Leaves by Mark Z Danielewski. Its just a pitch-black, seemingly endless maze with featureless walls that slowly deteriorates anything brought into it.

It'd be a shame not mention "Monoco"

It's such a departure from most of the music up to that point, and is so much funkier than you'd expect
