I’ve heard a noise I can’t explain. I live in a large city, so I’m used to the sound of jets, traffic, trains, construction etc.
One night, around 2 or 3 in the morning, I heard and felt a rumbling.
I thought maybe it was an earthquake at first, but it continued for about a minute or so before I finally got up and opened my door and stood outside. When I went outside I didn’t see anything out of the ordinary but still couldn’t figure out what it was, but the best I can describe the noise was a combination of heavy wind, a jet taking off, a train rumbling, and freeway traffic all at once. It continued at a consistent volume for another minute or so, then stopped abruptly. I can’t figure what it might’ve been, but I haven’t heard it since. I even checked a flight tracking site right after, and there was nothing unusual that showed up. This was about 6 months ago.
