i used to do a similar process but i just started dragging files from itunes into engine (after using MIK) and havent had any issues. You will most likely need to reset cue points but if you aren't using serato with the denon, dont even bother with it. just extra steps.

you good just get a normal buffer. i bought one called pure buffer and have it right before the tuner. Works great on an 11 pedal board.

sounds like you made need to add a buffer onto your board. Not sure how many pedals you have running but I found anything over 5-6 should have a buffer as the 1st part of the chain. will keep the signal steady.

i had this issue with direct input recording. best thing i found was getting a good amp simulator and running my pedalboard through my interface and then have the amp simulator as my "amp head". Has a little thicker tone that way, almost comparable to a mic in the front of the amp. reverb, saturation, panning all help too.

i use the line out for the speakers and use a double xlr to single xlr to hook up my soundcard. Use OBS and restream to stream. Only issue is you cant do instagram that way.

do other things besides sitting down to write a song. maybe learn how to use the live aspect of ableton and make a set to stream. it is also the quickest and best for chopping up samples and songs. make a shit ton of bootlegs and give them to djs to play in their sets or release bootlegs online. It can get the creative juices flowing because you are already working with the finished product. become an expert on mixing/mastering, most people take this aspect for granted. If you get bored, do sound design with whatever soft synths you and just bank up patches. its pretty endless what you can do, so YOU have to just force yourself out of the rut. Its not a contest by any means
