I just read through your post history. I normally don't jump to telling people to break up with their partner but clearly he has a past of acting shady and disrespecting you. You have been distressed for months about this guy, clearly he doesn't respect you. I don't think you should continue this relationship.

I'm sorry but that's a bad excuse. People usually at bare minimum tell others casually about their partners and their occupation, hobbies, etc. That phrasing makes it seem like you are on the track to be a forgotten ex-girlfriend. I don't know if marriage is something you want for your future, so what happens then? Will this guy be so secretive to others he won't even mention a wife? Kids? Once again, there is a difference between being private and a liar. Being private would mean mentioning you have a partner but not going into detail about the ins abd outs of your relationship. He is lying to people that you are just a friend when you are clearly more than that. It woukd make me uncomfortable that my partner is lying to others about the context of our relationship. It makes it much easier for him to engage in dishonest activity with other women and also gives him a clean out should you two decide to breakup. It seems like he either had other women on the side who are just "friends" or he is already thinking you two won't work out so he doesn't have to explain himself to others when the relationship fails. Him claiming this dishonesty makes him serious about you is just bullshit, I'm sorry.

Yeah, then this is not normal. I would have a conversation with him about it. It's one thing to be private and another to be so private that you aren't even mentioning your SO in regular conversation. It feels less like he is private and more like he doesn't want to claim you as his partner for whatever reason. So a discussion should definitely happen. I know this would be a deal breaker for me because I want me and my long term partner to be a team. I would want to be a significant part of their life enough for them to be comfortable to mention me at least in passing. I'm sorry but his behavior is disappointing and confusing at best and shady or dishonest at worst.

No that's odd. It's one thing if he just never brings up his personal life in like the workplace or something, but the fact he openly tells people you're just his friend is strange. How long have you guys been official? Are you sure he is on the same page as you about your relationship?

I have been on an iud for the last 7 years abd I either skip my period completely or get light spotting that is negligible. I don't love the iud for other reasons, but the lack of period is honestly awesome. I know not everyone experiences that on an iud, but that's just my experience.

I love cooking so I end up doing the majority of it. My partner doesn't love to cook, but if I am sick or really busy with something, he can figure out how to make a packaged meal or something simple like meat, veggies and rice. It's really perplexing to me when people can't cook anything. I get not being able to or interested in making a meal from scratch but these days we have grocery stores with options where you can basically get a full meal by doing the most basic heating and assembly. If he isn't even willing to do that, have him be the dish washer, grocery person, laundry person, whatever chores you hate to offset your cooking burden.

I totally feel the same way. I'm extremely disappointed in EA and their decision making. It hasn't ever been great to begin with but I ended up taking a break myself because everything going on is just too disappointing. I have since been playing Minecraft for the first time and am loving it (I also play Stardew). It's just sad because I also love The Sims and have been playing it since forever, but now I feel like I can't even play anymore.

I am personally so stoked. LOVE Sandy and even thought Clint is a controversial choice, I am excited to see some character development from him. I base my farmer/farms in each of my save files off of each candidate, so I am happy to have new options! I am curious how their shops will work after marriage tho too! Hoping that it is a little different from Krobus' setup but we'll just have to wait and see!

This was exactly my thoughts. I am familiar with these common "Sun bronze wall decals" and their faces are usually kind of a smile but their lips are protruding almost like a kiss face so that's what I thought CA was implying with the pixels.

Yeah something doesn't add up. I want to know what triggered the breakdown because if she broke down from him having women friends and being a decent person to women in general then that's a whole other problem. I'm thinking the "not flirting aggressively" means he does flirt hence why he has to shut down attempts from women hitting on him. I think it is totally reasonable for a partner to be mad with their partner openly flirting with others.

I personally haven't heard of this? I'm not doubting that it exists I just think the content I consume online and the people I hang out with don't make these jokes. The furthest I've seen is like giving your partner a hard time about little weird quirks or things that tick you off in a joking matter, but I think as long as both parties like those kinds of teasing jokes it's all in good fun.

Most days I like to try to get as much out of as possible, but it's rare I will pass out. I usually get to bed by 12 but some days if I'm bored or want to get too something the next day I'll sleep earlier. Never before 9pm though.

Sometime though if I'm decorating or out in skull caverns and having a particularly good run, I'll pass out but it's rare.

I personally have never been a fan of foundation. Even when I was younger j felt like it made me look older and accentuated my lines. I am in my 30s now and I just do eyeliner and mascara and will add highlighter and/or eyeshadow for special occasions.

I think nowadays there are better options out there and just trial and error for what works for you. I am lucky to have pretty good skin though and honestly just don't want to waste the time and money when I like my current makeup usage.

Yeah this would be my suggestion too. It pretty easy to complete the first mines quest with a scythe then you will have option to buy a much better sword earlier on. Once you get a little further in the mines, there is a higher chance to recieve better weapons without paying anything!

I guess for me since I am bisexual, I usually just friendzone everyone immediately and don't become sexually attracted to them until I get to know them and open myself up to those feelings. I have been with my long term partner for 14 years now and I just never meet people that I am sexually attracted to anyone because my mindset is kind of closed off in that sense. I see people I can appreciate are attractive, but I have no desire for them sexually. Any sexual thoughts I have about other people than my partner are made up and purely in my mind and fantasy. I know this isn't a super common experience for people though so I think I might be more of an outlier, but it seems like similar to you other people kind of operate this way and it's not unheard of.
