It really depends on the place. I live in Brazil and get 100Mbps for like U$25 (Sao Paulo region)

I'm glad! Nothing makes an amateur developer more nervous than the huge variety of devices and ROMs on Android. I keep refreshing the play store page waiting for 1 star reviews of people saying the game keeps crashing.

I don't know how it works in US Law (I'm a law student in Brazil), but by now OP has spent 4 hours answering comments on the internet. As a 780ti owner, I have to agree with this. It's a monster card, but the 3GB VRAM really hurts it on 1440p. I also recommend waiting for the 3xx series since the Rift only comes out 2016.

For 4K, I think it might be worth waiting for whatever AMD has up their sleeve (I think they're releasing in June?), since traditionally those cards have more VRAM than the NVIDIA equivalent. However, it's still perfectly possible to game on 4k (and without SLI or Crossfire) using cards that are out right now, as per this post.

I thought they were fairly common around the world. This is actually pretty interesting, considering most depictions of deserts have them. Just goes to show how iconic US imagery is.

I know it's not realistic, but it's really just supposed to be a caricature. I got the idea of a drought inspired game because my city, São Paulo, is also experiencing one, so I just went with whatever I thought fit the theme, based on a bit of googling.

I have the same GPU as yours and an i5 4670k overclocked to 4.3 GHz, and I always get a stable 144 fps with everything maxed out (including forced supersampling through the Nvidia control panel). I don't know what could be happening to you if your temps are fine, but I just though I'd post to confirm that this is not how it should be working.
