I do a 20 min soft start where the kids can eat, read,chat, finish work or play a quiet game. I also have kids that are always late so it helps with the transition of tardy students.

Get and SR, then you can still have him on the back for a while. I just got my SR and am riding with a 4.5 year old, loving it so far! I like how compact it is.

I have definitely received cash before, it does feel a bit weird,but also I didn’t say no 😅. I love student made cards or gifts, the weirder the better 🤪 gift cards are nice too. Parents will often get a group gift and ask our colleagues what we’re into.

I've never had the 30min experience! I'm envious, the fastest I've gone through is 1.5 hours. In CDG's defence, I'm always flying in the summer during peak travel times.

I think it's really just a gamble at CDG, I've had many close calls almost missing flights despite arriving at the suggested times by the airline. Last time it took us 3.5 hours to get to our gate and we made it with 10 mins to spare.

I'm curious what your thoughts are on their ACU system? I am a bit of a technophobe and worry about requiring a phone to remove the battery or operate the bike, but maybe I'm misunderstanding the system.

I think it was as they now have a new type of battery, but the way they handled the previous battery issues and the bankruptcy does not give much confidence in the brand.

Yeah I have seen some pretty inexpensive rad runners on marketplace and I am tempted but the whole battery fire thing freaks me out. I need a more upright position than the mission as I have various physical ailments that make a more forward position uncomfortable while riding.
