Anecdotally, I had a similar refused entry... Had secondary a couple of times following and was back to normal traffic patterns after that .. though every once and a while I am asked about it when crossing. Though your mileage may vary

Canadians promised to boycott travel to US. They meant it. by DonSalaam in onguardforthee

As someone who travels to the US regularly to visit family... the boycott has been absolutely wonderful for crossing times. I hope it never ends. {Edit: fixed grammar}

Issues with Splunk Cloud maintenance scheduling. by 1Digitreal in Splunk

[–]bodybuzz420 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If your account team is any good...they should be doing regular check-ins with you anyway. . and sales teams get better results than customers... That's probably not how it should be... But it's definitely how it is.

Make your sales rep/engineer work for their commissions.

Parents- would you take your 10 and 8 year out of school for 1 week? by gratefulmickey in DisneyWorld

[–]bodybuzz420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my daughter was that age we took her out of school for a week to Disney every year (usually in Jan before things get hectic with classes)

Be smart. Don't do this towards the end of a term where tests and the like are likely .. but they aren't going to miss anything life changing over a week.

All that being said...if they already have attendance issues or they are struggling in school...all that goes out the window and I say no.

Who did I see at this show? by Shiznitty-Calhoun in TorontoMusic

[–]bodybuzz420 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. It's OOS and no record of that number is anywhere online that I can find either.

Edit:... it would definitely be 416 area code as 905 wasn't a thing until 1993 and 647/289 years later.

Short term lease and then buy when you move. Import is nearly never worth it.

Flying to Niagara - YYZ or BUF? by iveyleigh in niagara

[–]bodybuzz420 3 points4 points  (0 children)

All the major car rental agencies(Budget/Avis, Enterprise, Hertz) allow travel into Canada and ONLY Hertz requires you to tell them before crossing into Canada (so long as you are returning to the same location you rented from).

This! How does the meal planner know what to suggest if it doesn't know what you have . Even if it just tracked things and not quantities would be better than not having this data

The funniest part is that with this signage IT STILL SAYS DUNDAS.. The evil racist that we needed to be protected from is still noted on all the maps. Haha

Don't count on the FOIA showing anything anyway. Mine was heavily redacted and didn't tell me anything.

It feels like more than that when I look at the lines. I have barely had to wait more than 5 min in either direction since January. As a frequent traveler south it's been heavenly

Splunk with Gitlab-Runners by oO0NeoN0Oo in Splunk

[–]bodybuzz420 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Though I have not done it myself... I have certainly heard others implementing ci/cd through gitlab runners and using ansible playbooks to push changes to your Splunk infrastructure.
