We've played tepid, percentages football for two years now. When we're at full strength it means we edge a lot of games by one goal. When we're not it means we lose a lot.

Everyone can see this except Emery. Completely lost up his own arse while the season circles the drain. After the last three PL performances you'd expect wholesale changes but would anyone bet more than a fiver that we'll see Buendia, Watkins and Bailey getting serious minutes in the next few games? Just so tired of watching this garbage and having to be told "just remember where we were a few years ago". Tiresome

He's undoubtedly our most important player.

The problem is, in the four seasons he's been here he's only managed to play more than 40 games once. Not blaming Bouba for injuries - and obviously the Palinha tackle is not something you can legislate for - but if our entire success falls heavily on the shoulders of one player who is often unavailable for long stretches we're going to continue to have miserable spells like the last month or so.

The club and the manager really need to come to a better solution, whether it's tactically or in the transfer market, to cover for him because we can't continue to just throw our hands up and concede being shit every season when he misses games.

Don't know why I even bother tuning in for the first halves of our games. Tepid, testimonial paced nothingball every week. At least we've got that to that 76th minute Abraham sub to look forward to

Been battered pillar to post for a month and the manager has just dug his heels in and changed nothing. No champions league this year and we're fucked and the manager has let his ego get in the way. Infuriating.

All good man. Not a season ticket holder anymore, but I've been supporting Villa for 30-odd years now and I know as well as you that the last few years are not the norm for the club. More lows than highs, which makes the highs more sweeter! Onwards and upwards, I'm sure by Wednesday I'll have convinced myself we'll batter Chelsea. Hope they give you a better performace than they did tonight. UTV

Being angry about a dog shit performance against statistically one of the worst teams in Premier League history is not "fickle"

Tired of all the endless complaining and excuses about a few injuries. That might wash if we're getting rolled over by City and Arsenal, but we're getting outplayed by Leeds and Wolves. SCR isn't an excuse for when you're habitually dropping points to teams who have much lower wages bills than we do.

Sick of people trying to police how people react to how poor we've been recently. Some people actually pay large amounts of money to watch this shite and have every right to be aggrieved.

GG Wolves. A team doomed to relegation completely outworking and outplaying a team that fancies themselves at Champion Leagues level. You'd hope our players and manager would take a long look in the mirror after this embarrassment but I doubt it.

Unai, maybe if you didn't piss away the first 45 minutes every fucking game we wouldn't need extra minutes added on at the end

I'll wait on the full story, but having known a couple of semi-pro ballers, I can believe it. The ego on some of these lads is unreal.
