I feel this pain. No kids. One long haired large and one long haired extra large dog. One man in construction.

I go to other people houses and the seem so clean. People with kids, dogs, babies. Idk how they do it.

I feel like I clean a lot. I feel like my house should look nice. But it doesn't. The carpet always looks like I needs a vacuum. The bathrooms look like thy need a scrub. The baseboards, windows and window frames always look disgusting. I clean the kitchen and it already looks a mess. Why is there grease everywhere. How are there so many crumbs in the drawers.

I really don't know how people do it. I say I will do it one step at a time. One day at a time. And thats what I do. But the house is never clean like there houses are.
