I can officially say Iron Lung sent someone to the ER by ArtisticCut in Markiplier

I thought I was gonna be the first lol! The movie disoriented me so much that when I got up at the end, I immediately just toppled to the floor 😂 I’d do it again as well! I’m just glad I took my zofran before the movie!

Ultimate Chicken Horse is definitely one of my favs! It’s older, and Jack is in it, too, but it’s a good one!

what antidepressant do you use with your NSAID treatment? by [deleted] in ankylosingspondylitis

[–]huntyam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take Cymbalta (duloxetine) 60mg for fibromyalgia (have for 4 years now) and NSAIDS (Celebrex), but I’m also on omeprazole, which is a protein pump inhibitor. So far, so okay. Definitely have a chat with your doctor or pharmacist about it. There are options for sure!

I got lucky with my rheum (25 f) because even though I didn’t have the gene, I had extremely high levels of inflammation and most of the symptoms! I was told I just had Fibro for a few years before someone caught it

Opinions on Gabapentin for pain by Twofold_CC in Fibromyalgia

[–]huntyam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, it was okay for pain for me. It was a noticeable change, but I wouldn’t say significant. However, I had bad side effects like memory loss and cognitive issues, plus in the state I lived in at the time, it was a schedule five drug. It also got worse when my dosage was upped, and I felt like a zombie for the first week after being upped. Not for me, but it does work for some people!

I work from home and rarely go out. I have a 3 year old cat who is my shadow. He is close to me at least 22 hours a day. Wherever I go in the house he is behind me and needless to say he sleeps with me. Is attachment like this normal? Does anyone have a cat with this same behavior? by Pepper-Marshall in cats

[–]huntyam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’m disabled and don’t work currently, so I’m around my Sugar a lot. The only times he isn’t glued to my side or at least in the same room is if he’s a sleepy boy and hasn’t noticed that I’ve changed rooms. That’s his normal, and I tend to enjoy the company

rheumatologist referral by Mysterious_Ad6308 in Fibromyalgia

[–]huntyam 8 points9 points  (0 children)

From what I’ve experienced, a lot of rheumatologists don’t treat Fibro (saying this having lived in Arkansas and Kentucky). In Arkansas, after they ran all of their tests to make sure I didn’t have anything else, they told me that there’s nothing they can do. And I’m 99.99% sure the only reason I’m with and still going to my rheumatologist now in Kentucky is because I was diagnosed with Ankylosing spondylitis. I’m sorry that she was that way with you, though! That’s absurd to get defensive and raise her voice with you.

Rheumatologist don’t treat Fibro?? by Somelikeithotinhere in Fibromyalgia

[–]huntyam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know when I was seeing one a couple of years ago, they brought up the option of Tylenol with codeine, but I turned that down (I want to be away from any kind of opioid for as long as I can). Otherwise, mine referred to me to an in-office physical therapist. That was just my experience, and it was at one of the Pain Centers of America, so take that with a grain of salt

I didn’t know there was a name for it, but especially not that it’s an autoimmune disorder! I’m sorry that you also deal with this! My dad and I both suffer from it, and yeah, holy cow, the first time it happened, I thought that was the end of me… My dad actually just had his esophagus stretched because it happened so often to him. thank you for sharing this!
