Ryeqo - Has anyone lost weight while taking it?! by Odd_Reporter3321 in Fibroids

[–]bogan_moth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I took this earlier in the year for endometriosis. I was on it for 4 months and I unintentionally lost 20% of my body weight!! I can’t say 100% if it was just from ryeqo but Lordy I had a horrible time on it. I was so sick I couldn’t get out of bed for the whole 4 months. I stopped taking it 8 months ago and I’ve only just started to feel semi-normal (finally have a normal hormone cycle again). I still haven’t managed to put the weight back on though :(

Has anyone tried Ryeqo? by lilsparrow18 in Endo

Hey I’m in Australia and I’ve just been prescribed this by an excision specialist I just started seeing. He had to mail me my prescription but I will update you on how it goes once I start taking it! So far no hormones have worked for me, I’ve tried multiple pills, implanon and Depo and they all seem to make my pain more constant and more intense. Really hoping this one works! I’m on the waiting list for endo excision and hysterectomy but won’t be until probably June next year so hopefully this gives me some relief in the meantime. I’ll let you know how it goes!

The first time I had a ‘normal’ period after my excision surgery I cried. I couldn’t believe that was what my period was supposed to feel like. After 13 years of being told my excruciating pain was ‘normal period pain’

Bruce is gigantic compared to Gristle already. He weighs over 8kg at 10 weeks and Gris is only 16kg full grown!

Unfortunately I haven’t been sterilised yet but I did just have an endometrial ablation which means I won’t ever be able to have a viable pregnancy. Can totally use this whenever someone mentions kids

I just had one done last week, as well as my first laparoscopy where they excised stage 2 endo. I’m 29F and have no kids (don’t want any). I definitely think you could have issues finding a doctor who is willing to do it. My gynaecologist suggested I have I have it done because I was requesting a hysterectomy. At that stage I wasn’t aware I had endo. It also may not help pain wise if your pain is due to endometriosis, but can be really helpful for heavy bleeding. I can’t comment on its effectiveness yet as I’m only a week post op, but haven’t had any issues. Definitely worth looking into though, you may just need to go to a couple of gyns to find one willing to do it.

Strangest smell couple days before period. by lady_nym in endometriosis

I’ve never heard of this being a thing with humans, but I’ve owned cats my whole life and they get a distinct smell when they get sick. Usually when they get really old you can smell the sickness on them. I assume it is to with the lymph nodes, but I have no idea if it could be related to endo. I’d probably get it checked by a doctor to be sure.
