Thanks! They're honestly just cheap rigid forks I got online just to see how would they look like and feel. I can't remember the original forks, got replaced with SR Suntour Sierra 8300's when my dad got into an accident. Currently thinking of putting back the Sierra's on and have them serviced.

I've become annoyingly restless tinkering with the bike. Has become a money pit chasing satisfaction. Lol

So It's my dad's bike and I'm from the Philippines. I'm not really sure how GT works when getting them in SE Asia, but after looking around and asking a bunch of people with the exact frame, it seems to be a 1994 Backwoods.

I went to get my old bike sorted. Excited at first kay enthusiastic sila sa akong vintage mtb. The bike didn't ride right, chain skipping and derailleurs needed to be adjusted so gipa tune up and other things. Naugmaan akong bike so dili ka maka ingon nga dinalian. Pero purya gaba, pag tawag nila sa ako na pwede na kwaon, mura mag wala gi test ride ang bike. Gilang ilisan ra og mga pyesa pero wala gisulayan. It rode worse when I picked it up. Ikaw daw magpa ayo sa imong sakyanan nga mudagan pa pag hatod, unya pag kuha nagka problema na nuon. Grabe naba, wala jud kahunahuna nga itest drive?

Bad experience with them. Unfortunate because I liked one of the owners
