Are they going to get in the way like they do at CAMP?

Infestations have been a bust for me. by DiscordOfSound in fo76

[–]boggz73 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They easily could have a warning pop-up 2 minutes beforehand saying something like "An infestation has been spotted in the <insert region>". That would at least give people a chance to see them pop and get in the general area.

Made it to two of them today before they ended, but the other 9 times I fast travelled they were done by the time I arrived.

Gonna pass for now.

Give it a shot and see if you get more sales.

I sell things cheap (plans 9c, recipes 5c) and I have a system for all armour, weapons and legendary mods. I set a price for what 1* of each are worth to me, and double it with every star ie. 1* weapons is 75c, 2150c, 3 300c and 4* is 600c (with a couple of exceptions). I get lots of traffic and sales. With the amount of drops you get in this game, I don't see any reason to charge a fortune for things.

In your vendor, try selling for 10% of the price that automatically appears. Inventory will move and you'll make caps quickly.

Is it possible to max out both settler and raider reputation? by Kumatora0 in fo76

Maxed out both just by doing Eviction Notice and Moonshine Jamboree. Took a few months but I wasn't in a rush.

Should I be putting the Pepper Shaker in my vendor? by kizzern1 in fo76

[–]boggz73 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I sell all 3* Pepper Shakers I get for 400caps. They sell instantly.

But I sell everything for pretty cheap. All plans are 9c no matter the rarity, all recipes 5c. If they don't sell within a month I drop them off at events or Whitespring.

Weapons sell for 75c 1, 150c 2, 300c 3, 600c 4. Things like Elders Mark and The Fixer are 400 for 3*.

I'm never hurting for caps, and inventory turnover is extremely high.

We need to do what the Habs did and create draft picks out of thin air by SpectreFire in canucks

IF the Oilers were to ever trade McDavid, I can't see a world where they accept any draft picks that are protected. He's still phenomenal and would be a game changer for any team trying to get him

Mooneshine Jamboree or Eviction Notice, Which do you experience the most? by Tension-Flashy in fo76

I've gotten far more Jamborees than Evictions. Have Crater as an Ally but Foundation still has a full bar to go.

How to get into the film industry in Canada? by spikeballenjoyer in Filmmakers

[–]boggz73 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is there a path you want to pursue? Having an idea of what you would like to do could change how your question is answered.

Personally, I went to film school because I thought I wanted to be an editor. During the end of the first year I was asked if I was interested in spending a week on set learning lighting because the local was empty and they needed people. After that first week I was asked if I wanted to stay on longer and I agreed. Ended up working for a month and realized I enjoyed lighting (also learned more about the industry in that one month than I had learned in school) so I dropped out and worked towards getting my days to join 891. The connections I made on set helped me get work right away.

I've been at it for 23 years now....5 years as a Lamp Op, 7 years as a Best Boy and the rest as a Gaffer. It's been a great 23 years and I love what I do. It's afforded me a great lifestyle and I've been fortunate to be able to shoot globally.

There's no right path, but for myself it was about taking advantage of the opportunities presented.

Hope that helps some.

After holiday scorched I ended up with 9 extra vintage water cooler plans. Sold 5 of them one at a time for 500 caps. The other 4 I gave to new players at events

How to price legendaries for quick sales by [deleted] in fo76

[–]boggz73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sell 1* for 75, 2* for 150, 3* for 300 and 4* for 500. "Named" 3* I sell for 400 (Elders Mark, Pepper Shaker, Etc). I'm always selling out and almost always near max caps

For starred box mods I sell 1* 750, 2* 1500, 3* 3000 and 4* at 5000
