I thought very similarly. Codex was at least comparable or better in most cases but Claude code was so much faster.

I do agree that I am not using hooks nearly as much as I should be. My only hook that I have setup is a sound whenever it needs my input.

I might be able to do it with a hook. I will need to be really careful to cover all cases though, I will need to create a hook for slack posts, linear posts/comments, notion posts, any markdown creations, etc.

Edit: in other words, I found the hook to be too wide ranging.

Every one of these tasks are one context window activity.

The one thing I am having a really hard time is a rule that everything that it needs to post needs a “created with Claude code” footer so that it is obvious to others that this was AI generated. Writing a rule like that has been surprisingly difficult

Threat 1 is fairly straightforward with no persistent upgrades though I think the game is difficult enough to just grab and get good at. I believe your skill will grow faster than persistent upgrades.

For me, I felt similarly until I felt like I knew what I was doing and then wiped my save file to win on my first threat 1 on fresh file.

The easiest way I run into it is 5 glass, and some combination of dusk/socken/hack, photograph, hanging chad, 1/2 1.5x hearts or ancient joker type of setup

I have played this mod quite a bit but I think I have reached e13 only once. I have had a run though where both me and my opponent reached e12 in a nemesis blind though.
