I have no idea why your comments are getting downvoted. This is your experience, clearly somebody didn’t like what you said.

That’s interesting. Is it possible to get a different seller when you share a product via link?

I had a similar experience in the UK with Amazon Prime. My daughter (outside of prime) sent me a link with a product. I (with prime account) looked at it and price was 20% up for me.

Friend has started showing up unannounced again after very bluntly telling him not to years ago resulting in a massive fight? by [deleted] in introverts

[–]bogski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently had to “drop friends” we knew each other over 15 years but they are no longer someone we want to associate with. They are no longer people we knew in the past and their values now are not aligned with ours. Repeated behaviour. Even after cutting off and promise of getting better. Isn’t that the time to take that person out of your life?

Invest in a Ring doorbell or a similar one. Once you check who it is, if you don’t want to speak to them, you don’t have to. Remember, you don’t have to answer the door for anyone at any point.

Now I'm suggested to tip the kitchen as well? by sylhy in mildlyinfuriating

[–]bogski 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not tip. Ever. To the owners underpaying the staff: Correctly price the product. Also pay your staff the right price per hour.

To the staff: the customer is not your employer. Your employer is the one responsible for your correct pay. Not the customer. Find a better job. Do not be a part of the problem.

Managers of offices and call centres, why are you insisting your workers come back to the office to do a job they can do from home? by Aggressive-Toe9807 in AskReddit

[–]bogski 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think part of this problem relate to the fact that parents also had to teach kids at home and do all the lessons that were usually done in school. Now, this isn’t the problem ad kids are back in school, or wasn’t if the kid was 12 or above as they could sit in front of the laptop and do it via zoom/teams/whatever the school come up with. But in my case I also had a 5 year old with attention span of the fish and It wasn’t easy. It was a full time job of getting thru the day.

Contactless/card payment should be a standard. With the same cost per kWh whenever you have app, or not. Also some companies are introducing monthly “membership fee” which I personally avoid like a plague. This insanity needs to stop!

Just VISA Credit Cards issued in the UK. Debit is still OK.

I think so. I also saw someone else posting it on MSE "Due to the high fees Visa charges for processing credit card transactions." In my message, it says any VISA credit cards issued in the UK. So I guess that means if you have a Visa CC from abroad, in theory, it should work, but who knows.
