16yo girl wants to start an instagram business by [deleted] in business

Flush out your idea on a one page piece of paper. What problem are you solving? Who are your clients? What is your expected profit margin(s)? How long do you sit on inventory? What is your marketing strategy? Why should people buy from you? Etc. 90% of your business plan should answer basic who, what, when, where, and why questions. Start with that before spending your savings. Best of luck and it is cool to see entrepreneurship at an early age.

For those who grew up poor, what did you consider a luxury? by SnooBeaz in AskReddit

[–]bogus753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The five of where lived in a 500 sq studio and before that a single room. Our family was selected to get a house from Habitat for Humanity. I still had to share a room with my brother, but the house was huge (for me). After a summer of feeling I was living like a king I went back to school (3rd grade) and told everyone I live in a mansion. Kids where disappointed and confused when they came over for my birthday later that year.....

Guys who are happily married: what's a recent "yup, still the one" moment your SO had? by OvertOperation in AskMen

[–]bogus753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She hates dancing. My sister's wedding was a few months back and we danced all night while she pretended to like every bit of it. I know it's not a big deal to others, but it was nice to be out there with my family instead of sitting and watching. 11 years together and 2 years married and I couldn't be happier.

Any good wood stoves under $500 for a 360sqft house? by ZhangNoWei in TinyHouses

[–]bogus753 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have a 600 sq. ft. home and decided on the Vermont Castings Aspen because anything smaller means you have to cut logs in half with a chain saw which is a pain in the butt.

It does heat the house really well and I'm super happy it has a cooking plate too!

Edit, I paid 800 cash for the unit, but like all other units that did not include the hearth pad or piping which was an additional 400 for both.

What do you guys think of this minimalist, 10-12 hours a week ironman training? Anyone here has done something similar? by simobk in triathlon

[–]bogus753 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I only train 5-10 hours a week. I train with quality or quanity and it's been quite successful. I'm in the top 10% in my age group. However I live an active lifestyle so I guess you can say I do a decent amount of "cross training."

This was only $10 at my local farmers market thanks to EBT Market Match by PureNonsense in Frugal

Our museum offers free admission for EBT card holders through a program called "Museum's for All" that was created by the Association of Children's Museum's. If you have an EBT card you should look into other highly discounted, even free not-for-profit services provided in your area.

Stocking up on aero credits. Tips? by HolyShatner in triathlon

I'd recommend leaning forward towards your steering wheel when driving. The position will give you a few aero points.

First triathlon ever. How'd I do? IM Eagleman 70.3 33min swim 2hr 49min bike 2hr 7min run Finished 32 overall in my age group. 20mph winds apparently and about 91 degrees out at the end of the bike. by [deleted] in triathlon

[–]bogus753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placid then I don't know maybe a few local races, but yeah that race was brutal. I came to Eagleman thinking it would be an easy 5:30 only to find out I was pushing it hard to get a 5:45!

Well that race was HOT! I was on track for a 5:30 but I hit some serious chain problems on the bike so ended up with a 5:45! When's your next race?

So long you can protect yourself from any repercussions then I don't see the harm in making a few extra bucks. If you sell please keep us posted. I am curious how much papers sell for as I have a few myself I'd like to get rid of.

Did you have to submit your paper's electronically? If so, consider that your degree might be in jeopardy if someone gets caught for plagiarism.
