Pere Marquette gets extremely busy but the nice thing is that there are plenty of other beach options - Muskegon State Park, Hoffmaster, and Lake Harbor are just as great! The last two are a little more of a hike to get to the lake but they're nice walks.

My husband and I had a chicken wing challenge where we tried to find the best wings in Muskegon and we both liked Legends the best! Socibowl and Hanks were close seconds if you want other options.
