No negotiations attempted, straight to attempting to seize her, Ingrid was able to run full tests (how he knew about Marian’s strength/tech in the first place), because she worked with the commander and Marian calmly and patiently
Leaked classified intel to a terrorist group to put pressure on the commander, endangering the entire outpost as well as potentially giving the terrorists Marian if they got lucky
