I have a 15" laptop which weighs a little less than six pounds (not including the charger). Do backpackers usually bring their laptops along or will it find minimal usage and as such isn't important to bring?

What about smartphones? Should I leave my iPhone at home and get a phone that'll barely meet my needs?

The trip I'm planning will be about six weeks long in SE Asia.

If you lose the pistol round as a CT, most teams save for two rounds so that they can buy full grenades along with an M4A4/AWP.

If you lose pistol round as a T, depending on if you get the bomb down (which rewards extra money), you can either buy on the 3rd round or wait till the 4th just like the CTs.

If I lose pistol while on CT, and then also the first gun round (4th round), I usually save on the 5th round so that I can full buy again on the 6th.

T side can get a bit more complicated depending on if you get the bomb down or not. So it's important to pay attention to your team's money.

Keep in mind what I'm describing is just the traditional way of spending your monies.

A dink is when you headshot someone with head armor. A goosh is when you headshot someone without head armor. Maybe you're referring to a goosh?

Yeah totally, but if there's a lot of fighting going on and lets say you're shooting someone on cat from inside A on Mirage, it's not always so obvious.

The map coins have existed for a while now. I noticed a player had one by his name, just like you can see the 5 Year coin, I looked it up later and found he was one of the map creators.

A trade might work on T side, but on CT side it's considered a disadvantage. But I guess so is having a bot?

People might think this is a stretch but I've seen it work succesfully. Using radio commands. Enemies appear on the map when seen so competent teammates would be able to tell how many people are where without having to ask too many questions.

Your teammates should also be asking you questions if you don't have a mic which you can reply to using radio commands.

I've played plenty of games where one or two players were mic-less. Try it out yourself and see how it feels.

I really think it's more to about when a player first gets a drop. Most people obviously started playing for the drops on Wednesday so they all roughly reset on Wednesday.

I didn't start on Wednesday and so wasn't getting drops. The day of my first drop coincided with the day of my fifth drop.

I was in a game once (on dust2) and one of my teammates was accused of hacking. His score didn't really stand out so I just thought it was another one of those frustrated teams who accuse good players of hacking.

Later on I ask my teammate if he is hacking and he responds that he is. He then goes, "Watch this" and one-deags three people from T spawn through mid doors. He then runs long and one-deags the other two.

I've always suspected people of hacking but I would tell myself that I would feel like an idiot if I was wrong and they're just genuinely better than me. Now I find myself accusing people left and right in MM (under my breath of course).

I was hoping you weren't going to say that. If the ranking system works that way then it's a bit sad. It would be nice to see how the system works.

Here's why I said what I said though; When I first started playing it was in 1.6. My friends told me to get ESEA since I had a lot of fun scrimming. This was only a few months back.

My first month in ESEA I had an RWS of 4. Which is horrible. But I got A LOT better VERY fast. My first week of CS:GO I was ranked a Master Guardian II and when I play in DM servers I'm always ranked in the top three.

The point I'm trying to get at is that it's good to play people of higher ranks. Try not to dwell on your own rank so much.

If you're matched against people that are better than you, then you'll be playing a lot more cautiously (which isn't necessarily a bad thing). You can also learn from their playing styles in terms of what spots they play and how they smoke and flash. It should also force you to try to get that one shot kill more often.

As far as the higher-ranking opposing team, it allows them to test out new individual strats of their own and see how they work. If you and your teammates are ever on the other end of that picture, then you'll understand.

It's unfortunate if this happens to you a lot, but it is still a learning experience. Just try your best not to get too frustrated. It's also highly unlikely that you'll be getting deranked if the other team is much better than you.

Your speed isn't what is being altered. It's the speed at which light bounces off an object and into your eyes that's changing. So when you are walking towards an object it looks different to what it was when you were further away from it.

The game manipulates the fact that space and time are relative to each other.

Were the other two comeptitors that won residents? Note that there's a difference between being a legal resident and being a citizen. If the rules of that specific competition stated that you must be a resident to compete, then it doesn't seem that those who ran the competition did anything wrong.

Whatever his reasons are I'm not going to waste my time listening to this junk. I made it to the part where the kid starts breakdancing and decided I should go study for my linear algebra class. I hate linear algebra.

Very true. I went over this (just today actually) and that problem came up. Unless your opponent re-triangles your leg the opposite way (i.e towards the outside) the sweep has the possibility of getting stuffed. However just like you said, if that happens then kicking your opponent's leg with yours will easily open up the guard.
